Although built in Ottawa, she spent most of her years up and down the ICW
between Chesapeake and Florida until we bought her in 1998 and brought her home
to Canada via the Hudson River and Oswego Canal to Lake Ontario. We converted
one galley counter into a childs bed by adding a wood lee-board so we can all sleep
in the aft cabin.
The name Humbug comes from her red and white striped jib,
reminiscent of the popular striped candy of the same name.
