Built by Ernie Anderson and launched in SF Bay as "ICENINE". Sold a few years later to George Young, moved to Santa Cruz, and renamed "LOTUS". Purchased in 1980 by us, moved back up to the Bay, and renamed "OCEANEER". In 1985 we took a left turn out the Golden Gate and cruised to Mexico, French Polynesia, Cook Islands, Samoa, Tonga, New Zealand and Australia. We sold her in 1989 in Brisbane, Australia to David Thatcher of New Zealand. David and family cruised to New Caledonia, Vanuatu, and back to New Zealand. David has since sold her to another Kiwi family and Oceaneer is believed to still be in New Zealand.
