Remarks:
Phaderus was built in the mid 70's by Jack Osborne in Bill Lee's chicken coop in Soquel, California, just up the road from Santa Cruz. I believe she was launched on New Years day, 1976. She was sold in 92 to Rule Powell who already owned a 31. We bought her in late April 92. My wife and two daughters moved aboard May 5, 92. Phaedrus would be our home for the next seven years. We left Santa Cruz Nov 1st, 93, cruised the West coast to Panama, went East to the Caribbean, South through the San Blas Islands to Columbia and then up to the Caymans, just past the tip of Cuba and on to Key West. From there we sailed up to New Orleans.
