Remarks: Wilderness was launched in 1978 and we have lived continuously aboard for the past 25 years. A new Yanmar 3GM30 diesel has been installed, the electrical system completely replaced with state of the art systems, as well as the waste system, using a LAVAC toilet, and aerobic bacteria holding tank system, and all sorts of things we've been dreaming about for too many years. Next on the agenda will be a high-efficiency reefer-freezer. We have kept the weight off by keeping the mantra of high strength-to-weight materials and careful design.
